It is very important that a disposable mask is worn correctly to ensure that it is effective in providing protection. Wearing a mask is only one way to protect yourself and others from the spread of germs, and it requires proper use and handling of the mask. Masks should be replaced in time after being used for a period of time, and should not be reused or shared. Follow the advice and directions of your health department or local health guidelines when wearing a Disposable Flat Medical Mask properly.

Preparation: Before wearing a mask, be sure to wash your hands first, or use hand sanitizer or alcohol to disinfect your hands. Make sure your hands are dry.

Remove the mask: Remove the mask from the packaging, making sure not to touch the inner layers of the mask. Disposable masks usually have a clear distinction between inside and outside, so that they can be worn correctly.

Place the mask: Place the mask on the palm of your hand with the nose clip or metal strip on top and make sure the colored side of the mask is facing outward.

To wear a mask: Place the upper strap or ear loops of the mask over the top of the head or behind the ears, depending on the style. If the mask has a nose clip, please pinch the nose clip with both hands to fix it on your nose.

To adjust the mask: Gently pull the mask with both hands so that it covers the mouth, nose and chin. Make sure the mask fits your face completely with no visible gaps.

Check the mask: Check that the mask fits snugly, making sure the nose, mouth and chin are effectively covered. Make sure there are no gaps under the mask.

Avoid touching the mask: Once you are wearing your mask, try to avoid touching it. If you must touch the mask, wash your hands first or use hand sanitizer or alcohol to disinfect.
